Art Installation

A Space Between Thoughts

The concept behind this installation is the connection of the human being with their divine self, transcending physical and material boundaries.

I aim to create a space of stillness and silence where one can turn their gaze inward and discover their union with the totality, the universe, the infinite. Simultaneously, it reveals the connection with all that is created, showing how every being, every entity, is a part of that totality and a part of ourselves. We are limitless consciousness expanding into the infinite.

To establish this space of quietude and to evoke a feeling of levity and lightness, I have utilized the representation of the human figure in a meditative posture. These figures are made with India ink on tracing paper, unframed, and suspended from the ceiling with transparent thread.

The tracing paper achieves the transparency and lightness I seek in the figures. The choice of India ink demands complete concentration and full presence, as every stroke is definitive and comes directly from the artist’s soul.

Whenever there is full presence, there is a connection with the soul—which, in the end, is the very function of art: the connection with the most elevated aspect of the human being.
